The Trade Council of Iceland

The Trade Council of Iceland helps Icelandic companies sell their products, services and know-how in the international marketplace. It manages the Euro Info Centre in Iceland. It helps organise the attendance of Icelandic companies at International Trade Fairs and such is very well placed for dissemination activities to a wide audience. They are actively involved with market development for Icelandic companies, provide a consultancy service to develop exporters potential and offer a range of training courses and seminars directly aimed at exporters. They publish monthly newsletters for the EURICA target group and produce a series of booklets containing practical advice. They will utilise their links with the Overseas Business Service which supports the project, and which is responsible for the Trade Counsellors in all Icelandic embassies. They work to strengthen the competitive position of Icelandic companies in international markets and are thus ideally placed to assist with the development of the project and for dissemination of the results to a very wide audience.

Their role will be to help promote the project, and will disseminate information in Iceland and to other regions by means of their extensive links with exporters and importers and with the Overseas Business Service.
